Many thanks for the kind welcome and generous comments concerning my entry in your weekend competition. Thanks also to ginge for the online prize which was much appreciated.

I wasn't aware of the mid-week contests as I'd not previously visited the forum for many a month. As a full time carer I often tend to overlook some of life's little pleasures. However, I will certainly make every effort to look in on a regular basis in future.

Am I now expected to 'host' the next weekend contest? If so when should I post the answer to be clued, and is it OK to use the introductory passage posted by ginge at the start of this competition?

Once again many thanks for making me feel at home!

Well done Sarumite and welcome! Yes it is standard practise to copy and paste the introduction, just remember to add 1 to the number of the competition, in this case to 8 also in the title. Best, Paul (the instigator...)
