Elle, I have been known to frequent the "other place", but this site is my first love.

Bernie: I've had a quick look at the "other place ". It's certainly useful to know about it, but it doesn't seem to have the same 'rapport' as does this one. This one s very friendly as well as helpful

I agree, Elle.
The other place has many sections on many subjects and interests.
One that I looked at was Quizzes and Puzzles, which positively welcomed charity quiz questions!

At one point yesterday, I too thought the site was broke it was so slow. :-)

As for the other place - being so much bigger and having a large number of topics it is not quite as cosy as here. However there have in truth been times in my life when people there have been a lifeline to me.

I make no secret of being on both sites and my name is much the same.

Now where's my pen!! LOL

Thanks all thought it was my IPad!! Have done what was suggested and changed to newest first. I too thought it seemed quiet on here.

Like Elle I am also a bit of a novice on this site. I was also not aware of the "the other site". But my loyalty is to this one as it is sooooo... Friendly and you seem to care about people who have not been on the site for a while like Trevor.
