I found this week's rather hard, but am now down to the last 5, four of which annoyingly are interlinked. Help with one of these may stimulate the remaining grey cell.....

I'm sure I ought to be able to see this last but am quite baffled

Admittedly I'm not entirely sure what this particular middle eastern country has to do with the rest of the clue but a lot of my (apparently correct) answers are like that anyway.
