1a. This clue appears to be the worse one of todays offering. Polyphemus almost drank rum tipple, made by coconuts?. It is two words and I have , c?i?p??? ??o?. I have no idea on this one, I did read that that the man was a mythical giant but no help there.

I could get this one! However - 27A - "Susan leaves us trapped in flood" I have 'SUFFUSE' but not sure why??
