Put the title of the crossword in the search box and hope that someone has used the same title as you entered.

Or - scroll through the pages looking at all the threads that may be relevant.

Or - Post a new thread.

I don't see what all the fuss is about really, so do what is easiest for you.

Jazzgirl (and others) - you are always so helpful which is great. But if it is the case that you clearly become irritated when others, possibly less familiar with the use of such Forums, don't follow threads then just leave them be. Don't answer. The issue is that there is no guidance / pro-forma on the forum's site so anyone can start any query in any way they please regardless of whether it has already been raised under some different heading. Maybe an alternative way around this would be for you to simply post the answers to every clue as soon as you have done them. That way you would only need to visit the forum once and would not be inconvenienced by the NTFs (non thread followers)?

Hi jvan
I sincerely apologise if I have upset anyone. I usually do not get irritated, but last Saturday was an exception as we had 20 posts for the same crossword ! I was doing a "Victor Meldrew" I'm afraid. People trying to find the same crossword in the "search box" would have found it extremely difficult to find the previous posts, as not everyone shows the same title for the Jumbo. Until such time as the search box is improved, then I will continue to give answers as and when required. Sackcloth and ashes for me although it will be a bit itchy. xx
