I have a theory that Earth means ground. So an answer might be something like ???????? Circuit.

That is a theory however, and is most likely incorrect. This clue is supposed to be cryptic, its not straight forward.

It could be as 'Electric Circuit' I suppose. Seems a bit vague for the clue but I'm thinking 'exaggerated opening' could be the 'c', 'u' and 't' from 'circuit'.

Have you got it yet? Don't understand how these cryptic quizzes work, but have you got anything to work on? How do you know if it is right? Could it be Dramatic..(something)?
