I have an answer that seems far to obvious so I think it must be wrong. Thanks.

Hi winnie and all friends...I used to be Twinsnan but change of email address and house move neccessitated change of name...hence the very appropriate new name. Have solved about 65 so long way to go. Others have already helped out with clues on some requests so will try to help out tomorrow.

48, I think it was a play by Joe Orton also short way of calling a lieutenant like you would say, sarge for sergeant.

53. Is apparently a fruit. Is that an actual fruit or a variety of fruit? Been through all the ten letter fruits I can think of.
