23d Disposes of more than old-fashioned bows with varying lengths (8) ??T????S (not certain of the T) Extra letter is "L"
37d Small US municipality(not Los Angeles) base (4) ???E
extra is "G"

2Dn is HOG + VAN inside MAY. So your extra letter is V. I'm still trying to get as many as I can before asking for help but thanks anyway.

I've finished but cannot see how 13d is FLESH.
One's family in the country, bound to replace one of fish (5). There is an extra P in the wordplay. Thanks.

Lep is an old variation of leap/bound - taking away the 'p' gives 'le' , which is in the middle of 'flesh' and replaces the 'i'in 'fish?
