Answered in Another Place as SHRED but I can't see that defined in the clue anywhere.

16 Don Cast er - cast (team) inside Doner (kebab) = Doncaster (soccer team)

Sh = Mum (keep mum - keep quiet) + red (a bit embarrassed) - defn = a bit = Shred

sorry - Red = embarrassed - not a bit embarrased
