I think the place name or Island in the answer begins with a J or K and Jura is an Island ,

Why didn't you tell us this before, quizmad?! and so how did you come to offer Weston Super Mare - no J or K there!
(and just when we thought we'd come up with a possible explanation for it, too!)
Back to the drawing board then ........

Fools rush in.....etc. Mea culpa...I've just read back through all the blurb - and it wasn't you who came up with Weston Super Mare anyway! although robinp presumably also didn't know that the answer needed to begin with a J or K, so his was a reasonable suggestion.

I certainly will.I am sure that it is the name of an Island but can't work it out yet.

Still can't work out the answer so maybe it's not an Island but a place name beginning with a J or K that is one of the words in the answer .

Quizmad - it quite clearly states on the quiz sheet 'no requesting online help before mid-April'. Why are you ignoring that?

I always was a bit of a rebel.
