I was at a pub quiz once when the landlord read out the question "What type of animal lives in a 'olt?"
He gave the answer as "A hotter lives in a 'olt".

8d: I have 'earth' for this answer? - it fits with the across answers. But I agree that while I have heard 'earth' used in relation to foxes, I also thought that a sett was where badgers lived.
