Thanks Syzygy...1A (unless there's a really weird coincidence) has two possible changers as well.

You're quite right. Missed that one.

In 1A change the second occurrence to fit 5D.
The first remains & is the change for 2D.

Thanks Syzygy...one more query...

Should 19A be read as "moisten roast beef"...?

If so, I can't get the misprint to work, it seems to be the wrong way round?

Thanks, Aristo.

As the yenta on SNL used to say, "Just talk amongst yourselves." Q-;

BTW, do you experience the multiple submit often? I've seen it a lot, but never had it happen.
Curious as to what causes that.

Anyway, great for a double def !

I am sorry I am so stupid......... but, when you change the letters, does it still make a word both ways? For example, I am sure I have the answer to 30 ac. But if I change the letter that's changed in the def, I don't get a proper word :-/

Could someone please also tell me which word/s is /are the def in 26 ac?

No, what you enter isn't a real word.
In 26a "One who came to find pro" is the definition, but one of those words has to be altered.
