Ok! A niggling problem:
4D is correct, but I have EARSHOT for 32A which throws off 4D(32A must be wrong)
And I can't see 35D ( BA?S) and what's wrong with 2D ( CENTRODE ) ?

32A has only 5 letters and is the theme word for E

35d is the theme word for B
2D your answer does not tie in with the wordplay
