Is that all it is? Thanks Sudokulover. After the Genius I was looking for something more complicated although despite the complaints on here, I thought G was OK.

In other words, teenieleek, it was a pretty weak theme this week!

G was perhaps OK if you ever got round to seeing it, being able to submit it, and after they eventually published the special instructions --- and even then the construction of the whole thing was pretty haphazard! Sorry to be so condemning, but none of that was in order --- nor the fact that they don't reply direct to your enquiry or complaint! Apart from all that, of course, a wonderful puzzle (especially how to adapt your Java Script etc...)

Doesn't 12d start with B?

All the other letters in February are covered except
B.

Each of the letters is an abbrev for the said word in Chambers

GK, re the Genius, I've just discovered something. On my iPad the crossword does not display at all. On my ancient PC, which has never been 'upgraded to a more modern browser' it appears no bother every month, which I use because I can print it from there. I know that is no help but it shows that it is not our fault but is a techie problem that the Guardian has. Although I have never tried to submit them, just do them for fun, I will try this time just to see if it will work.

I too used the B for 35d, and I too thought, "Uh, is that all it is?" Some nice clues though.
