greedy kite

19 entrants, 25 entries. Welcome to "oblib", a newcomer to me, at least! When I made my "short list", I discovered it contained over half. I therefore
think it would be fairer to congratulate everybody on an excellent bunch of clues. And nevertheless for my personal taste there was a clear winner ---
rambler's posting # 26:
"Agile Rosemary not easy to get worked up, but what a performance!"
---just as I like them, with a perfectly plausible surface, neat subtractive anagram & (I admit) a
slightly saucy "double entendre".
I hope this time the link works to your prize (if not, Chrise has promised to amend --- and thanks again, Chris, for helping me out opn the technical side).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmrPGxj90qQ
--- a little Edward Lear I hope will amuse at least some of you (the connection being of course rigmarole -- nonsense -- nonsense verse (so-called).
And one last point: I hope my judgment was not affected by the extreme heat we experienced here last night: an outhouse 700 metres away was set on fire (probably out of revenge by a slighted lover)
& we happened to be the first to ring the friends having their evening meal only yards away, who'd noticed nothing. There are only about 2 dozen people living here, but we've experienced enough real-life drama(s) in these first 5 years to fill several novels!

Congrats rambler

The word was presented before in 'PEER REVIEW 59' with an excellent entry from our dear departed friend 'Bullfrog' - just brought back old memories :)

I must apologize for repeating a PR word: I had checked both lists but overlooked that one. Thanx 4 pointing it out, RE! Seems to have produced very original clues all round nevertheless............
