There has been alcohol ( and probably drug) fueled violence in the city out here.
I live in a small country town, Bundy drinkers start off smiling, then laugh a lot, then get a bit unsteady. That's when the others help them to a seat and shout them another one, or many, so they don't have to try walking again.
We are a merry lot out here, most of the time.

I wondered if you'd pick up on that, still sharp I see and they say it kills brains cells!

Out here it is legal to own a still with a capacity of 20 litres or less, but illegal to make "spirits", hmm.
My neighbour owns one. Doesn't do my liver much good, but what a great neighbour.
