It seems that you are getting terrible weather, then sending it over the Atlantic to us (we have had a succession of storms here).
Hope you are surviving, anyway.

There's an upside at least. The woolly adelgid has been destroying native hemlocks in New England, and its northern limit is right about here. We lost a full-grown one but have about thirty left. It's supposed to be unable to survive below -5, so I'm always hoping for at least one really cold day per year.
