Your own dog or do you just walk him/her? I'm a cat person, until earlier this year I had 2 twin persians from kittens and they passed away peacefully within months of each other either side of age 22. I can't bring myself to get any more.

"Oliver" is a friend's dog. A gorgeous fellow, but too fond of the water. Needs an awful lot of towel drying which he also loves ! I have always had dogs, but sadly am without one at the moment, so I just walk friends' dogs for the exercise and enjoyment.

I look after friends' cats when they go on holiday 2-3 times a year and have done so for 5 years and I nearly convinced myself after the last visit to consider getting another myself but a kitten's expected longevity is likely to exceed mine with my lifestyle!

Go on Ginge, get yourself a ginger tom and call him........
