Wow that's obscure, and I've worked on a few Hamlets.
I've never been aware of hearing it. All texts I have say tickled o' the sere, and editors say it's often cut as not understood by many...
It's in Chambers - under sear!
I believe it was called puzzle 2156, but as I said it was reprinted in the paper last week in error and called 2157 Carte Blanche.

lumen and nikki - i believe someone on anserbank said the clues didn't fit the grid in their paper so perhaps we shall have this clue in tomorrow online!?
If so, we shall be one step ahead!!!
