thanks ginge. This is baffling me as well. Guns for flower heads (7) __o__p__ __ __ I cant think of any guns with a p or how flower heads fit in.

Possibly pompoms although I've never seen it used for flower heads. Pom-pom guns definitely.

I've checked online and pompoms are flower heads although interestingly enough/unusually not given as a definition in Chambers. Glad you're still enjoying solving.
