It looks to me as though the first two words are QUEEN ANNE'S

So frustrating not to be able to figure it out!

The answer is Queen Annes Dead - a saying, apparently. This was answered yesterday, I think.

Thanks, Chiff. I thought it was Queen Anne's Dead but for the life of me don't know why. Apologies Malone for not writing out clue and for not noticing that there was a thread about this yesterday: I did in fact do a search prior to placing my post to try to make sure I wasn't duplicating. Must have missed it!
