Is that the clue? How many letters in the answer? What type of crossword is it? Have you solved other clues in it? Where is the crossword form?

A dingbat represents a word or phrase, Roger. They don't usually give a letter count and there will be no crossers.

Thanks Rossim for informing me of what a dingbat is - I assumed that it was the name of the publication containing the crossword containing the clue! Much appreciated. Roger

Amen : as in R and then men (names of)......a bit weak, but I thought I'd bump it back up to the top anyway.

Hi Jojo.

I am also stuck on this one - which could be Amen like someone said. But my thoughts were all 3 names were shortened versions - but maybe thats a red herring.

did you also have one on the same sheet that said 'onion' with a feint letter V as we were stuck on that one as well.
