Someone may have a better answer...

eci subtracted from precise = ice, which can be a numb-er.
Not sure what tells you to turn eci around though, sorry - as I said, someone else may do better!

Well a precise set of numbers could be a dice, number subtracted D - Roman Numerals (500) leaving ice (cubes). (possibly)

Precise is nice and in mathematics the letter n is used to denote any number. Thus ice is fine, being? a set of cubes.
