Your logic is correct, AB, but (as andy said) I have never heard of a golf course with any holes with par less than 3.

In the real world there are no par ones because they are impossible. In crossword land logic flies out of the window. I imagine thea just wanted a chat and knows the answer is correct.

Hi ab
Actually not specially after a chat haha
BUT Ithink the answer is Paris but I don't know it---
And with a good tight clue one ought to be certain.
With this clue the definition is flawed ( City's= Paris) and the crypt is too.
You know ab I,m a bit pedanters ( except when I,m writing clues!!0
But good of you to chip in -- Have you had a good day? SOOOOO its Paris in the the Spring.
Kind res
