Can someone help me understand these answers please? Much appreciated again

"Scarper as daughter upsets hotshot politician" = Depart (I get the D only!)

and "Journalists observe iron workers" = Tresslers

Has the answer been given as 'depart'?

I'd say it was Decamp (scarper, it has 'd' for daughter +ace mp/hotshot politician)

Seems OK to me with 'observe'
being the indicator,

there is such a thing as 'press spot welding'
although i have never heard of a 'pressspot'
.
but Journalists = press + observe = spot

No, The answers I gave were confirmed by the online 'Congratulations, you've completed the puzzle' box popping up when I'd finished- just cannot find out what a Tressler is, and still don't really get Depart
