lady = Madam
set about (containing OR going around the letters) - a S (A pole)
= Mad (a S) am + Arch (vault) + Hare (synonym for run)

Crazy = Def = MAD AS A MARCH HARE

As = Qua (in the capacity of)
Doctor = Dr + I + LLES (Promote = Sell [revolutionary] spelt backwards)
Quadrille = Square dance for two sets of couples (+s - plural)

Quadrilles -
Qua = as (but I can't check it in the dictionary)
d = doctor
i = I
lles = sell(reversed), promote.

Endorsement = a green light, the go-ahead, but if you pass through a red light, you could get an endorsement on your licence.

Double Def (Cryptic Def)

To Endorse a visa, passport or other official paperwork is give the 'Green light' of passage, entrance etc

If you passed though a red light you would get an Endorsement on your driving licence (Driving offences in England when printed onto licences are called 'Driving Endorsements' (Just in case your not a driver or you're from over seas, I wasn't being pedantic with that bit)
