can we get help with quizzes as well as crosswords?

Hi esmeralda, I think that most on here abide by the setters requests and the closing dates. Hopefully someone more in the know will be able to answer you shortly. I will bring this to the top a little later if you have had no responses by then.

Hi , the simple answer is yes - the more complicated part is whether the setter has requested no asking (or until a given date) also quizzes with ages to run potentially being spoiled.

My advice, wait till a week or two before close date, then give full title/close date etc and ask for extra clues.


Please note this is my view as an avid quizzer (OK addict) and not of the site owners.

That may be Mamya's own view but it seems to me to be fairly widely held.
I've often seen messages from people decrying the 'spoiling' of a Puzzle which has some time to run and where it seems that the enquirer has put little effort into finding the answer through 'proper' research.
