It's me again.
Been trying on and off all day to tackle the last 2 questions in this quiz.
46. Opening batsmen are ready to exchange runs into needed goods (9)
51. Doubled up after first eleven gets a yellow.(10)

A synonym of "haggling" ... look at opening letters of words in clue.

However did you get that one (No.51) Thank you so much for all your help on this quiz. I know a lot of people will criticise asking for help, but it's nice to know of other peoples logic, and it is only a game after all.

Thanks Clare. I'm not really interested in winning ..... if I did, the charity can keep the prize ....... I just like doing quizzes and I'm quite willing to give clues to anyone who asks for them ............ no matter what anyone else thinks.

..... and in answer to your Q as to how I got No.51 ..... it was my last one, and it was the one that HAD to have both ART and TRA in. It was then just a matter of finding words with the two combinations in ! lol ;O)

Well, it was my last one too and I had worked out that it had to contain both words, but I didn't come across that word.
Like you, I am not interested in winning, taking part is the enjoyment. Looking forward to the next quiz....speak to you soon.
