Full grid except for:
29d Old-fashioned about taking turns with prayer (5) S?RN?
39a Theatre award? An old spoon ?ON?
Also, have the 20 letter description, however, have a number of candidate shapes for highlighting the 6 cells?
Gentle hints appreciated

Gentle hint rather difficult with this, but Tony is a theatre award and given in Chambers as a simpleton, as is spoon?

Corny would fit, though I don't see why at the mo.Again, difficult to give just a hint. And I'm assuming the "S" is not correct. Please comment!

I've got it: about = ON taking turns with CRY (prayer)!
Sorry if that was too much! I'll try to be gentler next time!
