Well done Trevor...I can agree with 1 and 7 but couldn't get the rest. Thought more people would have come back by now!

I've only just caught this thread, so I didn't have chance to solve them myself, but I can confirm BONXIE - XI for team in BONE (which can be picked), and it's another name for the Great Skua, which is a remarkably offensive bird - just visit Handa island in the breeding season!

aah, it was the 'offensive' part of the clue which i couldn't understand, thanks for that.

I've only just returned home, but I did manage to get BIrdsong and Brass Monkey Weather
