Butter spinach rolls Welsh diner ordered (9)
I have sa?derin?. Seems to be anagram of diner at the end - but I stil can't get it!! Help please

To Sawder is to flatter [butter up]

Sag = spinach
W = welsh

Sawdering = an old term for flattering or buttering up. SAG = Spinach in an anagram with W Diner. I know,they're mad these setters.

I think you've got it Mamya. I was working along the lines that a butter is often a goat in crosswords!
