E?T [This should be obvious, but I can't see any worry in any potential answers I've come up with]

Explanations welcomed - some of these letters may be erroneous.......

I think the other two are EAT and SHOWROOMS, but I don't fully understand them.

39a EAT - worry is when it eats away at you
bridge player is EAST without S (south)

40d showrooms

The jumper is ROO

SMS text - how = way roo = jumper
