Thats what I have..I think the parse might be Si (this is evidently - yes) + erra (sounds like era)...not entirely happy

If "saloon cars" were the definition, wouldn't you expect a plural - ("sierras") - obviously it doesn't fit

It's "sierra" as in the phonetic alphabet for "s", which is the first and last letter in "saloon cars"

If the letters are correct no other word fits. RR (rolls royce) is another car if that's any help.
