5a livs was correct with chartreuse and pie chart- remove the chart - leaves reuse
the phrase was reuse and recycle I think

lol...thanks Daw, I was trying to find the homophone in the answer...an enjoyable Genius in the end after an unpromising start, still not convinced that 2D and 15D quite work though.

Just got in. Pleased to see that 5ac has been resolved, though I think its a very poor clue. But I'm still none the wiser about 27ac. Gentle hint anyone?

I think ixion is right about a misspelling in 2dn. I hadn't noticed.
