Has the Times goofed? Surely the answer to 23 across is "bark at the moon" but the first word according to the clue has only 3 letters, everything else fits??!!

Chambers has 'bay at the moon' - and doesn't have 'bark at the moon'.

I think to Bay is to throw ones head back and howl,or sound off with feeling, Stag at Bay for example, well Grandma told me so and shes knows everything!
