Jane we are having a bit of fun , sorry if it seems at your expense - I do approx 30 quizzes per month and for that reason do not answer quiz queries, it was purely the tone of your response that lead to giddy replies.

mamya, thank you, am grateful for your posting. Never wish any controversy, just wish peace and love to all who love their crosswords (and now it seems quizzes)A shame people need to be sarcastic.. very easily done isn't it?

Jane , I am as guilty of sarcasm as anyone here, but sometimes the wording of a point can come across rather pompous and late on can lead to such threads as this - no vitriol, gentle humour, which does not always sit well. The site is generally self policing.
