If the boy's name is LES..He'll LIE (in his bed?)
Answer LESLIE (a small town in Fife).

Much as I enjoyed Drumbeat's answer (it's the type my husband makes up!)I think the answer to No. 6 is - drumroll - TOMINTOUL

It can be pronounced Tomintool (tool being a Scottish word for a towel) or Tomintowel i.e. Tom has had his bath and is now in a towel!
