Hi.

Not sure what answer exactly fits your letters, but patrilineal and patrilinear both fit the clue and length.

Hi again.

I don't mean to be rude but is 'patritional' an ok word?

It's just that I couldn't find it in Chambers (or any) dictionary although is has had some use as shown by a quick internet search.

Hi,
The answers is ....It's probably not an ok word but it's in the dictionary according to "Neil" and he's usually quite good at guessing but he's had some wine tonight so may not be quite so accurate as usual!

Hi Sue.

Sounds as though the wine is flowing good & freely.

Good luck with it all!

Hi Richard.

I can't find 'patrilingal' in any dictionary either and was just wondering (since Sue & Neil have since said that the 'g' was wrong) what the clue/length/letters are for the troublesome crossing word (i.e. the word that has/hasn't a 'g' in it)?

whereas 'imitating' does end in a 'g'
imitative does not end in a 'g'
