I'm stuck I have 2 clues and 2 answers for each clue and they link together, thoughts please.

I hope i've explained myself ok. I don't want to prejudice but my feeling is it should be innocent and dace.

Innocent was a pope and I went with dace.

Thank you andyc, hope the stomach has settled. Seasickness is awful, I used to be a diver and one of the boats we used was flat bottomed and when there was a heavy swell it was purgatory being up top. Welcome back.
