one's = is.
bound = hop.

Theambler, is it really the very last day of summer. it's bloody hot here in the bedfordshire badlands. but, yes I have enjoyed today and hope that you have as well.

the bishop clue didn't have a word not used in the word play to provide the def. so the def must have been an answer to the clue as a whole. as if it was a question. which it was, wasn't it? one of those mysterious "& lit" clues people get so excited about.
