I've heard of Lardy cake and got the clue but am now wondering what it tastes like and ingredients, may give it a try, do love cake.

I think lardy cake might be a Northern dish, tho` I had it when a child in S.Wales. It`s like a big tea-cake if my memory is right. made with lard instead of butter perhaps. there might be a recipe on google. M.
