Thank you all for your entries. The standard just keeps getting higher. Thank goodness I only have to count votes and not judge a winner from such a high quality batch of clues.

The winner was Tonyw with clue 31 “Pooh cheats at his own game!”

Well done , Tonyw.

For your prize, here’s a serving suggestion for the next time that you’re making pancakes.

Very well done, tonyw.

I must confess that I hadn't spotted "Pooh" as the definition at first sight, so hadn't realised how clever a clue it was (if I had, it would have had my vote too)

Hey,thanks all.I must admit that when I first played with Pooh as a definition it took a while to get the Pooh sticks bit,but when I did I was chuffed with myself.
I look forward to setting next weeks word and hope that it will be as good fun as AB's .
Thanks AB.

aristo, they've taken the straitjacket off so that I can 'thank you' to you and bullfrog for the votes.

Good win, tonyw.
