Nice clues, Jolan. I was indeed ascending the heights, and fraternizing with loons too. I think they're beautiful, but my youngest daughter says their red eyes give her the creeps. I must admit that their madwoman-in-the-attic laughter does creep me out.

We don't have too many divers in Oxfordshire,Aristo and I've never heard one. My bird book says the Great Northern and red-throated "wail". mmmm
