problem with 16d and 26ac
I imagine 16d is cheese something, but I´m lost really.

I have treat for 26ac shout as in a pub buying a round = treat It for vermouth which gives me cheese it still lost on me though

Everyman 16d. I have cheese it. Dolcelatte is a cheese and it is the vermouth in gin and it, so like you, I couldn't think what else to put, and cheese it is an expression meaning clear off or stop it. Rather Wodehousian!

In my younger days I read a lot of Wodehouse but don't remember "cheese it" still theres a lot of my younger days I don't remember
