Yes, it's a wonderful poem. "spem nos vetat incohare longam".Apart from the Aeneid Book 2, of which I learned the translation off by heart (but clearly got the wrong bit in the exam), I only know one other Latin poem. If I acquire enough courage I may quote the first line sometime...................
