A bit late, but can anyone explain the rationale for:
1d - change the shape of rock festival held in the centre (7)

16d - one pound sent over in advance for issue (7)

I have the answers for both of these (reluctant to post them and so spoil for others) but don't understand the reasoning.

1d the 3 letters in the middle = a gaelic festival. The remaining letters = a synonym for "to rock"
