In my comment on my favourite clue on the "Joint Effort" I mentioned the othershe Uxbridge English Dictionary. This comes from "I'm sorry I haven't a clue", featuring two stalwarts of ISIRTA, Tim Brooke-Taylor and Graeme Garden. The others were John Cleese (so your Monty Python comparison was apt), Bill Oddie, Jo Kendall and David Hatch, who also produced it.
