Cheers Guys,

aristo -14a - I know who she is aswell, a well diguised clue with the use of 'case' to hold UV inside
never knew 'Roi' was French for King, my French is crap
GOETHE - should've got that really

GK - Raglan - I got it quite early, I commented on it because I used it in my PEER REVIEW entry as part of the anagram

Cheers

aristo, as she once said- "come up and see me some time"

Thanks guys, you've sorted it out.

What, no comment on my Teamster joke !?

Les, 9D should be TRACT.

GK, 22A:
(N)ame on the back of (R)ecord's initial = R....N
jackets (container of) GALA designed (anagram)
sleeve = RAGLAN (Chambers)

Aristo, re Spectator: someone has posted a PDF link on AnswerBank last two times.
I trimmed it in a Word document:

Aristo, pretty quiet lately for Speccie threads after the lock-down.
I wonder if submissions from non-subscribers will be considered.

Like your Mae West joke.

Les, the full quote is:
"Come up and see me some time. All I have on is the radio." (-;
