Hi Les,

My understanding of the rules is that once you have given a correct answer you are not allowed to answer again until a clue is declared open. Thereafter you can answer any clue. If correct you are then frozen out again. For example I missed a chunk in the middle today. I was frozen out when I left the game and therefore I checked if any clue had been declared open when I returned to the game a bit later.

So I'd got it wrong aswell then.

I get it now, once your own clue has been solved, then you can't come back into the solving field until somebody makes the 'Open clue' declaration. meaning, if clues keep being solved within the 15 minute time bracket, then you could be potentially frozen out for some time indeed.

Seems fair though.
