Hi all,
Bit of a struggle until I uncovered the camel anagram! Assuming 4d (H x 1984? 55 x 1?) to be
another name for book(s) derived from roman numerals and 1 (s?)? Get the 1984, but lost on the significance of "H"?

Hi Strummer, not sure about 4dn, roman numerals suggest LIV but like you don't know where the H comes in.

Hi Strummer, i think H x represents Hard Times, and an anagram of 55 (LV) x 1 (ONE) plus S for plural question marks gives NOVELS (Hard Times and 1984).
